Description
The hammer plugs of the MB 700 series are based on the compression/expansion principle. Each plug consists of a ball as an expansion element and a cup-shaped expansion sleeve. Pushing the ball into the sleeve causes the sleeve to expand outwards. The teeth on the outside of the housing dig into the base material and ensure a secure anchoring. The ball is properly hammered when it is flush with or slightly below the top of the case. The upper part of the case retracts slightly and prevents the bullet from being fired.
